Buddy is our Client Relations Specialist. He’s the handsome black haired older gentleman that will greet you when you enter our hospital. You can often find Buddy lying on the reception desk asking for Medi-Treats and helping clients with their debit card transactions. Buddy has been with the Guildcrest Cat Hospital since he was six years old and preventative health care has helped him to live to his current age of twenty-one. Buddy’s mouth was diseased secondary to his diabetes so his teeth were gradually extracted which helped control his diabetes. He may have no teeth but he certainly enjoys his food and can eat pain free with his happy healthy mouth. Buddy gets insulin injections twice a day for his diabetes. He also gets medication for his arthritis and his inflammatory bowel disease. Buddy loves all the petting and attention he receives from staff and clients at the Guildcrest Cat Hospital.
Buddy’s Buddies
Buddy cares so much about stray cats that he set up a fund in his name to help them get the medical attention they need. At Guildcrest Cat Hospital, Dr. Stewart and Dr. Van Boxtel as well as the staff rescue stray and abandoned cats and kittens, fix them up, and find them homes. They live and play in the hospital while they are waiting to be adopted. Buddy never gets lonely with so many nice cat friends to play with especially in the sunny front window’s cat trees.
