Jasper Jujubes - Client Relations

I came to the clinic in January 2008 after many discussions between my owner and her significant other. He and I never saw eye to eye, but I loved my owner so much that I was mostly willing to put up with him. Unfortunately, when she got pregnant, he said he didn't want me around just incase I showed my attitude. This was an over the top demand in my opinion.

To my dismay my owner agreed and brought me here to be euthanized. Dr. Van Boxtel was working at the time and she refused to euthanize me when I was a completely healthy cat. I literally owe my life to her. I couldn't go home though, so Guildcrest took me in as a Buddy even though I was six years old.

It embarresses me to say but at the time I had no idea what was going on and when I started my life here I was very scared and very aggressive. Dr. Van Boxtel and Lorraine didn't give up on me, and each day they would come into my room to talk to me, to let me know that they weren't out to hurt me. It took me about a month to believe them and settle down, but I wasn't fully convinced. By month two I would come up to them and let them pet me when allowed, and that's when they moved me into the Doctor's Office so that I could get even more exposure to the staff.

At the end of the third month I was allowed to roam the entire clinic and get to meet all the wonderful clients who come here. It's true that my cattitude still comes out every now and then but that's just who I am!
